According to his information, both green and red bands are being printed on the new figure cards. These are pictures of green banded cards he sent me. |
Wondering what it means when somebody refers to the new wave of figures coming in an .04 case? Here's photos of the box from Greg Wilson's AUSTRALIAN COLLECTORS CLUB page.
Yes, I collect figures both on cards and torn open. I was looking for a way to hang the carded figures on the wall when I ran across this holder at a toy show. After a little newsgroup posting and help from Sean Winterberg, I was able to track down the source for these. The case is made from plexiglass and is very nice. The black bottom slides out, you slip the card into it, being careful to slip it under the small tabs along the sides and pop the bottom back in. It even has a very nice device on the back so you can hang it on the wall with a nail or drywall screw (best). They cost between $7 and $10 depending on volume and can be ordered from The Name of the Game at 1-818-307-6414.
I recently got this stand from Pete's Action Figure Stands. I read about them on the RASSC newsgroup and he sent me one during a Stormtrooper trade I made with him. I love the stand and am anxiously awaiting all the others to arrive for me to take pictures of and display my office figures on. Pete sells the stands for $4.00 each. I think it's a great way to display the new figures. If you think so too, you can contact him at via email at Pete's Action Figure Stands. Oh, I don't get a commission, but it would be nice if you told him you saw it here!
This view shows the impressions in the stand you press Boba's feet into which does a very nice job of holding him in place for display. It also shows the nifty Star Wars logo on the front.
This is the box that the SOTE Wave came in.
Here is a scan of the first nine POTF2 figures from the back of the Classic four pack box above. Originally this was the only place you could find all nine figures pictured.
Later, Leia started showing up on the backs of figure cards. Here is a scan of the back of the Luke X-Wing pilot that has Leia on it.
Here is a scan of the back of the Yoda figure that shows the next wave of figures that brought the total up to sixteen. This also shows the Speeder Bike and Lukes Light Saber.
Here is a scan of the figures from the back of the Han Carbonite card that shows the new two packs, deluxe figures, new POTF2 and SOTE figures.
